Rock? Yes you do!

I love you Maa!

You make my life so easy by making your life tough.
I could give you the world for that, but that wouldn’t be enough.
Every day of my life I try to be like you,
Because the world would be a better place with someone else like you.

The first time you held me, I knew I was safe.
Being in your arms is still my favourite place.
Every second of my life I know that I will be loved,
Because God sent his most loving angel from above.

Your hands helped hold the stars in place, and encouraged me to reach.
Your hands would clap and cheer and praise when I captured them at length.
Your hands would also push me, though not down or in harm’s way.
Your hands would punctuate the words, just do what I say.
Your hands sometimes had to discipline, to help bend this young tree.
Your hands would shape and mold me into all you knew I could be.

Your hands are now twisting with age and years of work,
Your hand now needs my gentle touch to rub away the hurt.
Your hands are more beautiful than anything can be.
Your hands are the reason I am me.

When I think about you, mum,
I just can’t help but smile;
The beauty of your loving heart,
The easy grace in your style.

You lovingly instilled in me,
Those values that made me strong,
And never stopped being there,
My best friend since I was young. When I think about you, mum,
I just can’t help but smile;
You’ve been an angel from the start,
Gentle, wise and versatile.

You sometimes worries too much,
I guess it’s just the way mums are.
If you don’t, well, who will?
That’s why you’re my superstar.

Dedicated to all the superstar mothers out there, but specially for my angel, my mother.
She is a rock,the glue that holds us together,and anything I say is not enough for all that she has done for us.
So the only thing I have to say is“HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MAA!”, I love you for eternity.
