Everybody is looking ,
For the missing piece through everyday life.
The way to open the entryway ,
To snatch time lost in rife.
Looking, searching, anxious,
Examining each break and fissure,
Laying conscious around the eve,
Dreamless, void presence.
We’ve all experienced thick.
We’ve all experienced thin.
We’ve all been to the light
And then back to the dull once more.
Each day is a struggle,
Each day might be another battle.
Each day might be a game,
That may leave another scar.
At what point will we start ,
To acknowledge what is here?
The current day wherein we live,
Not the past or future.
At what point will we quit looking ,
To conclude we needn’t bother anymore?
Only at that time will we discover,
What we’ve been searching for.
But always remember that each day is new.
Each day is a trip hanging tight for you.
